Welcome to our new website. Richwood Tree Services is a family-run company which specialises in a wide range of tree surgery services in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas. From crown thinning and tree pruning to tree removal and complete garden renovations, we do it all. We will also carry out hedge trimming and hedge removal services. It’s all part of our tree surgeons’ personable and reliable approach to all our clients, including those in the residential and commercial sectors.

Tree trimming
We are very happy with the work carried out today by Richard and his team. Our trees have been professionally cut and all waste taken away. The garden and front of house was also left exceptionally tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We are registered with the Environment Agency and hold a waste carrier licence for removing garden waste materials only. Our team of qualified tree specialists are fully trained, with qualifications awarded by the NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council). These cover aerial cutting and rigging techniques, tree climbing and rescue, tree cross-cutting, felling, and maintenance. Our team also hold current CSCS cards for working on building sites and property developments in and around the areas we cover.
