Our tree surgeons at Richwood Tree Services recommend leaving hedges alone between 1st March and 31st August, in accordance with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. This is to facilitate the nesting season for birds. Unless the hedge poses an immediate danger to health and safety, we usually perform our hedge removal services outside these dates.
